After completing Art College, I studied for a fashion degree at Nottingham before starting a long and varied career primarily within menswear. My early career consisted of casual wear design, coupled with regular sourcing and sampling trips across India. These experiences taught me the importance of commercial understanding and the commitment required for long hours in the industry.

In 1998, I joined Bagir, one of the largest tailoring specialist suppliers, which held contracts with prominent retailers such as Marks and Spencer, Brooks Brothers and Balmain Paris.

In 2002, I partnered with Simon Carter to launch the brand's first clothing collections, which quickly achieved success and significant growth. This success led to my promotion as Global Brand and Creative Director, a role that required extensive international travel to sell and present collections while also sourcing fabrics and overseeing production in key fashion capitals including Paris, Milan, Florence, New York, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.

In 2014, I moved to Prominent Europe as the Group Creative Director, overseeing both branded and private label products. My responsibilities included managing a diverse range of brands such as Chester Barrie, Richard James Mayfair, and Simon Carter, alongside collaborations with many major retailers including John Lewis, TM Lewin and Ted Baker.

In this role, I managed many projects and brands at once, including made to measure tailoring from Italy and mass production in the Far East, as well as purchasing for multiple stores and concessions. I presented branded collections at fashion weeks in Florence, New York, and London.

In 2019, I launched my own design and production consultancy, collaborating with both long-standing relationships and new clients. Outside of work I have a passion for all things creative and vintage, which I enjoy exploring with my family in various galleries, homes, gardens and events such as Goodwood Revival.
